We, Richard and Donna Ames, purchased the company in early 1999 from the original owners. The company started with one lotion and one bath and shower gel, the North Dakota Prairie Rose. The owners had a stitchery store and were looking for a non greasy lotion that could be used by people who did handwork. They came across a lotion they liked and contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer was looking for someone to distribute a lotion they were developing with the Praire Rose fragrance. From there it mushroomed, as more fragrances were added to the line. The potpourri and candles are recent additions to the line. They were added to enhance the possibilities of gift giving.

      At present, we are running the company ourselves with the help of our daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
